The Thornton Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred just before 11 p.m. on March 25 near East 88th Avenue and Grant Street.
Officers quickly responded after a caller reported that someone was bleeding. Upon arrival, they located an adult male on the ground with an apparent wound. Officers immediately began rendering aid until medical personnel arrived.
The 29-year-old male was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. His identity is being withheld pending positive identification by the Adams County Coroner’s Office and notification of next of kin.
