The Thornton Police Depatment is set to launch its new automated traffic safety program to change driver behavior, curb reckless speeding, and make Thornton streets safer for all, Red-light cameras will be install in all directions at the following intersections:
- East 88th Avenue and Washington Street
- East 129th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard
Two mobile speed vehicles will also be placed at various high-risk locations in the city.
All cameras will be operational by the end of 2025. Watch Thronton Police social media and website for updates on warning periods and live dates.
